Harriman Hike & Bike LLC – Terms & Conditions

By booking a guided trip with Harriman Hike & Bike LLC (“we,” “our,” “us”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before booking.

 

1. Bookings & Payment

  • Your booking is confirmed once payment is received in full or a required deposit is paid.

  • The balance is due by the date stated on your booking confirmation.

  • Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

2. Cancellations & Refunds

  • You may cancel up to 24 hours before the trip for a refund of your balance. For group hikes you may cancel up to 2 hours before. Deposits are non-refundable if canceled within 24 hours of the trip.

  • No-shows will be charged the full amount for private & group hikes. 

  • If we cancel due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen events, you may reschedule or receive a full refund.

3. Participant Requirements

  • You are responsible for assessing your fitness level and ensuring you are medically able to participate.

  • You must follow all safety instructions provided by your guide.

  • Minors under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian

4. Assumption of Risk & Liability

  • Outdoor activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to slips, falls, wildlife encounters, weather changes, and remote locations.

  • By participating, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Harriman Hike & Bike LLC and its guides are not responsible for personal injury, loss, or damage, except in cases of gross negligence.

5. Equipment

  • We recommend wearing appropriate clothing and footwear for the activity.

  • Some equipment may be provided, but participants are responsible for their own personal gear unless otherwise stated.

 

6. Changes to Trips

  • We reserve the right to alter routes, itineraries, or schedules due to weather, trail conditions, or safety concerns.

 

7. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
